Our Client, a premier consumer product good food company with products sold nationwide, is seeking an experienced Sanitation Specialist for this first shift position.
The right candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the upkeep of this FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Good) production location. You will have full responsibility of the sanitation, cleaning procedures for specific assigned equipment. 
  • Maintain & review cleaning procedures with plant staff.
  • Comply with the production plants SSOP’s (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Oversee the sanitation, pest control procedures and provide continuous improvements for the machines proper cleaning.
  • Maintain close relations with several departments, such as Materials, Quality and Production.
  • Trouble shoot Clean In Place (CIP) systems.
  • Prepare for plant audits.
  • Ability to train new employees by providing sanitation training.
  • Practice and set GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Assist QA management during internal & external audits.
  • Work with all State and Federal Food Safety directors to meet all cGMPs requirements.
  • 2 to 5 Years of similar Sanitation work experience from a food, beverage or medical manufacturing plant.
  • Must have experience directly in a Sanitation role.
  • HS Degree or equivalent.
  • Be highly motivated and the ability to take initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to follow company guidelines to all HACCP; cGMPs, Sanitation programs.
  • Strong math and PC skills.
  • Experience working with State & Federal agencies for safety regulations.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
