Our Client, a premier consumer product good company with locations nationwide, is seeking an experienced Demand Planner.
The right candidate will have the ability to improve forecast models & supply chain needs for this international manufacturing company. Provide weekly and monthly analysis models to senior leadership team to allow informed decisions.  Deliver various forecasts and trends for all manufacturing plants located nationwide.
This position will provide an excellent opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate their flexibility and availability to work with all levels of management both internal and external.

  • Analyze the inventory, delivery and consumption for all manufacturing facilities (for various ingredients, supplies and raw materials.)
  • Ensure facilities are adequately stocked to prevent downtime or schedule changes due to material shortages.
  • Analyze & forecast the monthly, quarterly and annual variances to the plan and revised forecasts.
  • Turn forecasted data into actionable intelligence to be used across the national supply chain.
  • Use of data analytics to uncover patterns, market trends, customer preferences and other useful business information.
  • Work closely with procurement & finance to identify trends that can impact forecasts.
  • Implement process improvements to improve financial forecasting & reports.
  • Communicate risks to leadership team with preparation of presentations at executive level meetings.
Bachelors Degree, Mathematics, Business or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum of 3 years of Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Business Analysis.
  • Knowledge of principles of optimization.
  • Understanding knowledge of inventory optimization, product flow analysis, cost to serve analysis and operations planning.
  • Knowledge of supply chain functions relating to the food industry.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, analysis & reporting services.
  • Experience with SAP, TMS (Transportation Management Software) or WMS (Warehouse Management Software) is a strong plus.
  • Candidates must be open to domestic travel.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
