Our Client, a premier consumer goods company that sells a variety of products worldwide, is seeking an experienced Brand Marketing Manager of Apparel to lead a small existing apparel merchandising team. They are (no pun) “bursting at the seams” with growth!
 
This position will be responsible for driving and supporting primarily the woman’s apparel product line and driving its promotional strategies. This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, with dependencies on other members of the marketing team, as well as merchandising, design, operations/communications, data analytics and customer service. This position will have Omni channel responsibilities, if applicable, as well as support marketing strategy performance against operating plans to achieve financial business objectives and practices.

We’re looking to find someone that will help continue to transform the company’s tremendous growth to its next level. You will be responsible for an over all budget, multiple SKU’s and work with numerous vendors. Meet with vendors and traveling to tradeshows both domestic and internationally. Oversee Direct Mail Order /Catalog and promotions to include Internet e-commerce sales & merchandising.

Responsibilities:

The right candidate will bring their soft good woman’s apparel product expertise to this position. Handle all the execution and conceptualization of all promotional efforts of various consumer apparel products.
  • Partner with Marketing leadership, PR, Advertising and supporting all marketing strategies, short term and long term.
  • Manage indirect team members through various cross functional channel marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with all members on promotional products via eCommerce and print catalogs.
  • Work with clothing designers, manufacturing contacts, QA, packaging, inventory, vendors and customer service to assist with various issues.
  • Support new marketing campaigns and programs that reinforce the companies value proposition across the customer life cycle to reduce customer churn, increase loyalty and improve the customer experience.
  • Assist with pricing for loss leaders, sale items and other pricing strategies to accomplish objectives.
  • May assist with the Loyalty program including but not limited to; Manage and optimize the loyalty and retention plan for the brand ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
Requirements:
 
Bachelors Degree with related industry work experience.
(Marketing, Business, Design, or equivalent degree).
  • 4+ years of strong Merchandising, Marketing, Financial & General Business knowledge.
  • Creative individual with woman’s apparel merchandising experience is a must for this position.
  • Ability to prepare sketches to convey product ideas to leaders and functional teams.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing both direct and indirect staff members with the ability to produce positive results.
  • Proven record of supporting multiple SKU’s for both catalog print & web e-commerce.
  • Must be able to think ahead for planning strategies for the departments’ future.
  • Ability to motivate and train staff with proven multi-task, organizational skills.
  • Capability to stay organized and thrive while multitasking many competing projects.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and visibly committed attitude.
  • PC skills, MS Word, Excel, computer graphics and Power Point.
  • Candidates must be open to travel and relocation necessary for this position.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
