Our Client, a premier consumer product good company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. Come see how you can really make things “Count” and where you can truly make a difference! This place is continuing to grow and FAST.

In this position, you will provide direct support to the Director of Accounting for all financial aspects of various business-related items. The focus will be on being the key back up person to the Director of Accounting. The position also allows some hybrid time to work from home.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, train and hire accounting staff.
  • Oversee all budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Support and guide management with budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze, prepare and review financial statements and summaries.
  • Correct wrong bookings, revenues, costs, provisions and hours.
  • Oversee and monitor the functions for hourly payroll, accounts payable, customer billings and month end financial ad hoc reporting.
  • Manage inter office invoicing and invoice follow-ups.
  • Review reports generated by accounting personnel and ensure their accuracy and timeliness.
  • Establish procedures for periodic inventories of all plant assets and to ensure that plant records reflect all the assets at hand.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree, Accounting is REQUIRED
  • 8 years of accounting with a large manufacturing or distributor type business.
  • Prior experience managing a accounting staff.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Excel & MS Office Suite.
  • Capable of interpreting and analyzing financial reports, cost analysis & comparison, billable materials.
  • Strong preference to candidates with Monarch, PeopleSoft & SCM experience.
  • Ability to work with people of all levels of the organization, developing and maintain productive work relationships.
