Responsible for supervising an overnight process production team.
Must be able to maintain excellent quality, safety and production standards for this overnight shift operation.
Ability to demonstrate excellent managerial & leadership skills.
Ensure availability of adequate supplies and materials needed to meet and exceed productivity standards.
Responsibility of managing the scheduling and keeping the staff accountable for results being delivered.
Adhere to all safety for food responsibility and sanitation procedures.
Obtain production goals and objectives.
Adherence to GMP, OSHA, HACCP program standards, safety, and all other plant policies.
Participate in all plant inspections including Federal, State, Third-Party and Self-Inspections.
HS Diploma or GED is Required.
HACCP Certification – strongly preferred. (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Certification)
2 + years experience supervising employees directly in a food or beverage production manufacturing environment.
Ability to motivate and train people and monitor the safety & quality of the products produced and the safety of the employees managed.
Requires good leadership, teaching and coaching abilities.
Participate fully in the Company’s quality program and GMP’s.
Requires complete knowledge of the food safety principles in producing and handling products that are produced in area of responsibility.
Strong knowledge of HACCP.
Must have the ability to coordinate and supervise the activities of subordinates, ability to communicate both orally and in writing to their subordinates.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred, not required.
Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for a visa sponsorship now or in the future.
