A local leading manufacturing company is seeking a Human Resource Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic HR team. This individual will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees. This role involves collaboration with Human Resources, Finance, and other departments to maintain payroll compliance, address employee inquiries, and contribute to overall HR functions.

Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:
  • Administer bi-weekly/monthly payroll, including salary, bonuses, and adjustments.
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll data, including timekeeping, deductions, and benefits.
  • Process garnishments, tax levies, and other wage-related items.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including tax filings and year-end documents (W-2s, 1099s).
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and company policies.
Employee Relations:
  • Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Provide guidance on payroll policies, procedures, and related matters.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
System Management:
  • Manage and troubleshoot payroll software and systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the payroll system.
  • Implement system updates and enhancements as needed.
Audit & Analysis:
  • Conduct periodic audits of payroll data and processes.
  • Analyze payroll trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and review payroll-related documentation for internal and external audits.
Requirements:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration or a related role.
  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employment laws.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
Certifications:
  • Professional Payroll Certification (e.g., CPP) is a plus but not required.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
