Our client, a premier consumer product good food company with products sold nationwide, is seeking an experienced Sanitation Lead.

The right candidate will be the key leader responsible establishing and maintaining the upkeep of a this FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Good) production location. You will have the supervisory responsibility of all sanitation team members, the sanitation procedures and educational training.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain & review cleaning procedures with staff members.
• Comply with the production plants SSOP’s (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures).
• Oversee the sanitation, pest control programs and provide continuous improvements.
• Maintain close relations with several departments, such as Materials, Quality and Production.
• Prepare for plant safety audits.
• Implement HACCP; cGMPs, Sanitation programs.
• Develop employees by providing sanitation training.
• Practice and set GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Manage a direct staff of sanitation employees.
• Work with all State and Federal Food Safety directors to meet all cGMPs requirements.

Requirements:

• 1 year or more of similar Sanitation work experience from a food or beverage manufacturing plant.
• Must have prior supervisory experience.
• Be a good visionary leader with proven experience leading a team.
• Good math and PC skills including MS Word, & Excel
• Experience working with State & Federal agencies for safety regulations.
• Bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish) but not required.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for a visa sponsorship now or in the future.
